Synopsis:
At 2:00 p.m. today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 135 kms Northwest of Coron, Palawan (12.7°N 119.2°E).
Forecast:
The Western section of Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience widespread rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Central Luzon and the rest of Southern Luzon have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
