Synopsis:
At 2:00 a.m. today, the Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 120 kms East of Central Luzon (16.2°N 123.5°E).

Forecast:
Luzon and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides while Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas with moderate to occasionally rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the southwest with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
