Tropical Depression "FERIA" has slowed down as it changes its course to the West Northwest direction.

Location of Center (as of 4:00 a.m.): 105 kms West Southwest of Subic, Zambales or170 kms West of Metro Manila

Coordinates: 14.4°N, 119.2°E

Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center

Movement: West Northwest at 15 kph.

Forecast Positions/Outlook:
Friday morning:320 kms West Southwest of Laoag City

Saturday morning:380 kms West of Basco, Batanes

Sunday morning:100 kms West of Taiwan

Signal No. 1: Northern Mindoro, Lubang Is., Batangas, Cavite, Bataan, Zambales, Metro Manila

Residents living in low-lying and mountainous areas are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.

Tropical Depression "FERIA" may reintensify into a storm over the South China Sea.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 a.m. today.
