Weather Update Dissemination for Bacolod City

Synopsis:
At 2 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 575 kms East of Extreme Northern Luzon (20.6°N, 127.3°E). Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.

Forecast:
Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and the coastal waters along this area will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast and east with slight to moderate seas.
