Weather Update Dissemination for Bacolod City


24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST

Synopsis:
At 2:00 a.m. today, the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 960 kms East of Northern Luzon (18.4°N,132.6°E).

Forecast:
Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will prevail over the rest of Luzon with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
