AT 2:00 AM TODAY, TROPICAL DEPRESSION “FERIA” WAS ESTIMATED BASED ON SATELLITE AND SURFACE DATA AT 230 KMS EAST SOUTHEAST OF BORONGAN, SAMAR (10.8°N 127.7°E) WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 55 KPH. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST NORTHWEST AT 15 KPH.
FORECAST:
EASTERN VISAYAS WILL EXPERIENCE RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS WITH MODERATE TO ROUGH SEAS. THE REST OF VISAYAS, SOUTHERN LUZON AND MINDANAO WILL HAVE MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO AT TIMES CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
