Weather Update Dissemination for Bacolod City

Synopsis:
At 2:00 a.m.,today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 380 kms West of Iba Zambales (15.5°N, 116.0°E). Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the Western sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Western Visayas and Mindanao.

Forecast:
The Western sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Western Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Light to moderate winds blowing from the east and southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the Southwest over Western Visayas. Elswhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east and northeast will prevail and the coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
