Synopsis:
At 4:00 PM today , Tropical Storm "JOLINA" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 480 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes(16.0°N 128.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph. Southwest monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Forecast:
Southern Luzon, Visayas and Western Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the Western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of the country will be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to Northwest with slight to moderate seas.
