At 2:00 AM today, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 610 km East of Southern Luzon (14.5°N 130.5°E).
Forecast:
Eastern Visayas and the whole of Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
