At 2:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 400 kms North of Extreme Northern Luzon (24.6°N, 123.0°E). Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.
Forecast:
Mindanao and Extreme Northern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.Light to moderate winds blowing from the south to southwest will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east and southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
